Hey - I like this post about the day.... "informal presentation support group" is an interesting way to put it - I did get that out of it as well... I found that being immersed in one topic/theme for the whole day was really beneficial to me - thinking about it, talking about it, learning about it, sharing about it - I felt myself becoming better just as the day went along due to my focus on presenting/training for a whole day!

I especially enjoyed your wildebeest/self-conscious crocodile model, and as a Philosophy Major find this whole area really fascinating... I may just check out that book now too...

Thanks!

Thanks Andy for sharing your thoughts in such detail. I learned a lot from reading this post and I was at the event all day. It is wonderful to hear about the ah-ha moments that you had and I am especially glad you shared the wildebeest story for all to learn from -- that was an ah ha moment for me.
