However, I feel we need to appropriately interprete and correctly adopt the originator’s idea if the e-version is to be a true replication of Ranganathan’s laws. To this end, I wish to suggest that the e-version should read as follows:

1. EBooks are for use.

2. Every reader his or her eBook.

3. Every ebook, its reader.

4. Save the time of the e-book reader.

5. The library is a growing organism.

Lately, I’ve been quite paranoid about a future without the current production of printed books … if everything would be electronic, the control chances increase … but I guess this is another topic.
