Yes. A thousand times yes. This is exactly what I was thinking as I read your last post, &quot;Schrodinger&#039;s eBook&#039;. Telling an author they haven&#039;t written a book just because of the format it&#039;s in is a sure invitation to get a punch in the nose - in my opinion.

Of course publisher&#039;s are scared of pirating. Before e-books it was something that would take a lot of efffort to enable, and cost the pirater time and money. Now that the files are digital, publishers and authors have a very real problem to face. However, it is a problem that is not going to be combated by massive restrictions, and perhaps one hey are just going to have to live with. 

I still think eBooks are an issue which aren&#039;t going to be properly cleared up for some time, but this post and the previous one helped to clear up for me a lot of the potential reasons behind the confusion over them.Though, I think I&#039;m going to have to request a discussion of the topic in my cataloguing class =D]]></description>
